Welcome!MediCann was founded in 2004 by Dr. Jean Talleyrand, a Brown University and Boston University School of Medicine graduate. As one of the first cannabis doctors in California, Dr. Talleyrand and the MediCann Affiliate physicians have helped many patients with nearly a half million cannabis evaluations and recommendations.
MediCann provides patients with safe and informed access to Medical Cannabis via consultations, website resources, and access to the latest medical and biochemical science. We help patients understand the best use of Medical Cannabis to treat and alleviate their conditions, thus improving their quality of life and helping them feel better. Additionally, we serve as a valuable intermediary in the Cannabis industry by directing patients to the right Cannabis resources and helping them decide which Cannabis products would best serve their medical conditions. As well, MediCann serves as a resource for other medical professionals that desire to implement Cannabis into their practices. We are the trusted and credible resource in the industry. We believe that the science of Cannabis is crucial to moving Medical Cannabis into the future.

MediCann - Partnering with Experts...MediCann partners with researchers and clinicians
to bring you the most up-to-date and reliable medical and scientific information available. MediCann has partnered with the non-profit Clinical Endocannabinoid System Consortium (CESC) to advance the science and medicine behind the impact of medical cannabis on humans. The Dosing Project™ is a current research effort to explore the role cannabis flower plays in managing pain and insomnia. We want to help patients identify their "type" of cannabis product: the right, most effective product for their condition. With science and patient study, we aim to establish dosing guidelines, and which product type is most effective for specific patient needs.
